Once three children from the land of Israel
 
Took a little trip into the land of Babylon
 
Nàbucodonosor was the king of Babylon
 
He took a lot of gold and made of it an idol

Then he told  everybody: 
 
when you hear the music of the cornet

and worship the idol

You couldn't foul them with a golden Idol

So the king   put  the children 
 
in the fired furnace
 
And he heated on the fire 
 
with red hot brick stones
 
It was Seven times hotter hotter 
 
than it ought to be
 

Even burned the soldiers the king had put there
 
 
Then the Lord sent down an angel
 
And He gave him a couple of wings
 
Well He sent him in the middle of the furnace
 
And began to cool  the flames
 
The children sang so happy
 
And they stepped into the fire.
